They are fine pistol.
Nice Sigs. You've got the P229 covered very well.

9mm in a 40 cal?

so I own a 40 cal P229. You can just do a barrel swap to .357 and no need to change slide or mags, correct?

How about a 9mm barrel? Can I put that in my 40 cal too? Or will need slide or mags or both? or not even possible and would need to buy a separate 229 in 9mm?

Just picked up my P229 SCT today in .40!!! I love it

The guy at the gun shop had to apologize because I had the Hogue finger groove grips put on and he couldn't put it down to complete the sale haha

I think they sell a conversion kit with a 9mm slide barrel and magazine all together

229 .40 is a great gun...well made and has a feel of quality in your hand to me...i have a glock 23(compact .40 like the 229) and thought it was great...i shot it very well tight groups out to 25yrds....being polymer it just always felt cheap to me... i shot a friends 229 the .40 snap is alot tamer in the 229 and more fun to shoot feels like polymer framed 9mms to me... so my recent purchase was a p229r second trip to the range and still getting the feel of it with respectable groups out to 15yrds ....looking forward to more range time with it ...and handling the 938's when they hit dealers near me! lol
