Seems like a good price to me. I can find them locally for about $399 and that saves me shipping and the transfer, but i'd have to pay tax.

They get wonderful reviews from everyone I know that has one.

Be aware, all the 9mm SP 2022 at CDNN have the external extractor, if that would make a difference

Morgan,

I've read ... but cannot say with any certainty ... that the external ejector models are the preferred, later models. I guess the one with the internal ejectors were proving less than reliable, and Sig redesigned to compensate. I heard the earlier ones also had no loaded chamber indicator atop the slide.

I think they're down to about $360 or $370 now. Got mine, a 9 mm, from CDNN into my mitts for $399, all costs included. My gun, according to its hardcase, was made last fall.

So far, so good. Rocking through cheap FMJ ammo at the range and haven't had a stoppage yet. At close-quarter distances, just ridiculous good grouping from all the 115 gr. I've pushed through it.

Mark

Sig SAUER SP2022 Pro 9mm - Sig Sauer - Handguns - Firearms

$349. They've been doing this sale for a few months now. Palmetto State is also very reputable. By the time you check, if they are out of stock, just wait and check back again in a few days. They have an active inventory system and they always bounce back and forth between "in stock" and "out of stock".

Palmetto is where I got mine. $349 shipped until Memorial Day. Ordered on the 13th of May and got it a week later. 400 round of Tula and Walmert federal and 100 % reliability. So far I've also gotten 600 rounds trouble free through my M&P Shield as well.

I got my sp2022 9mm from palmetto for 349.99 shipped during the free shipping event last week. It came in a cardboard box with one mag, extra grip and a lock.

Dang, these guns are a buy at $350.
I'd get a .40, but I'd probably end up confusing myself. A man's got to know his limitations.

I try not to make impulse buys but, I just picked up a E2022 (manuf. date Dec 2011) from gunbroker for $320 plus shipping. I can't remember getting a pistol of any quality for that price before. I sure hope it lives up to my expectations. The SS guide rod has been ordered too. If all goes well, I'll be breaking it in next weekend. I'll need 500rds to be sure it'll be reliable as a go to gun.

Years ago I moved away from 9mm because of a potential lack of lethality, but now that we have hornady personal defense ammo I am more comfortable with a 9mm again. I personally never liked the striker fired guns and finding this DA/SA polymer framed semi was a real find.
