P232

I have a P232 that ftf with a full magazine and one in the chamber. It fires the first round then ftf the next. If I remove one from the mag it fires fine. Any ideas why it does this? BTW I am a Sig lover and own a few. I am waiting for an STX and have been for months. Popular guns and they are running way behind.
Thanks for your response.

Had the same problem with a factory mag for my Sig 230--got a new Sig mag & that problem went away--so I called Sig & sent them the problem mag & got a new replacement mag.---Sig customer service is great IMO---

First off, welcome to the forum.

Do you know what brand the mag was that came with your 232?

Most sigs were being shipped with MecGars, but I believe reciently Sig has been switching to Promag. I dont know if this is true for all models, or even at all so I will need to look into that more.

Thanks for the input. I will contact Sig and see if they will replace the mags. I hope it is as simple as that.

I just checked the magazine and it is stamped Sig Sauer with nothing else. So I do not know who manufactured it. Time to contact them and explain the problem.
