I went out yesterday and shot 200 rounds out of my 2022 with flawless function, except about 50% of the time i changed magazines when i would release the slide to chamber the first round as the slide came forward the hammer did as well. I have not altered anything about the gun since it was new, it has about 2000 rounds through it and yesterday was the first time it has done this. Anyone know if its me, the gun, or what i can do to fix it?

Oh ok, I haven't had that issue with mine as of yet. Hopefully it is an easy fix for you. Maybe try contacting Sig, I'm sure that they can get it resolved for you. Some of the members that are armorers will chime in.

I wonder if you took the grip off, cleaned it really well, and used compressed air to blow out any trash. I do this after every 2000 or 3000 rounds. Hopefully there's only some trash is under the decocker.

Well folks, my beloved sig pro is sitting at the dealer where i bought it and he said he would take a look at it and i can just pick it up monday with my new p229. He is a gunsmith as well as a dealer, just in case your wondering.

, First I heard of a problem with the 2022,but it happens my pals HK45c was a jammo-matic pos and had to be sent back and my nephews new Ruger SR -9 cracked the frame from the trigger guard to the mag housing half way down the grip. I have got 4 new new Sigs made in the last 2 years with zero problems.
