Question new p226 problems?

i purchased a p226 in the 40 cal s&w a few months ago shot good at 25 feet but at 50 the round was all over the place, the sight is off about 4 or 5 in. at 25 feet its ok. anybody else had problems with the sights being so far off when it came right out the box? and also the grip moves as if its not tight when i go to grasp it. it doesn't throw off my aim, just annoys me, the screws are tight as all get out. i never had a single problem out of my glocks and is there a good aftermarket for the p226 ive come up short lookin around. thanks you guys

Can you explain what you mean about the grip moving?

And as far as the sights go: if it were an issue with the sights, you would still be consistently shooting a group, just not on target. If the shots are going "all over the place" at 50 yards, then most likely the problem is: you need more practice

It could be a different issue with the gun, but it's not the sights if there isn't a consistent pattern outside of the target.

i manged a group at 50 ft. the group just wasnt where ud think it would be. was shooting way low. makes me think the elevation is way off. the grip issue it feels as its sliding in the palm of my hand but the grip screws are tight, i cam feel movement in the right grip , like a flex of the plastic or something
