If some people like it, I think it is a good choice. It's a SIG, and will go BANG every time, no matter if it has a zombie sign, or you duracoat it pink and yellow. All you have to do is vote with your wallet. Don't like it, don't buy it.
On a lighter note, I just googled "zombie squad", and guess what? They even have a forum and seem to take ths whole undead **** kinda serious. I READ A POST WHERE A GUY WAS PREPARING TO "BUG OUT" WITH 540 ROUNDS LOADED IN MAGAZINES. In case of "combat". ROFL. Most of them still believe that gear and gimmiks are an adequate substitute for training. I've been on deployments and combat missions and never carried 15+ magazines. I never geared up like GI joe in his best days either, yet, I'm still here.
Anyway, SIG is in the market to make money. If stamping a zombie sign on a high quality gun will sell more unts, then more power to them. The shareholders may like it.
Best way to look at it.

Uneducated, simpleton members of a jury might very well be swayed by such an argument. The point the OP was making on this topic is that one would be much better off to buy a non-descript gun. One that isn't labelled a "Zombie." Again, if you don't have a background in building a court case, this may seem trivial. I assure you it's not. The point that was made is an intelligent, valid concern.
or adding a little red dot generator/crimson trace

It is? Do show me a link where this was ever an issue that made it a "valid concern".

I think the word you're looking for is "theory". No one questions how a court might handle a self-defense shooting by Massad Ayoob, who publishes books and videos on shot placement and tactics. No one worries about a court rifling through SigTalk for the topics about wanting to choke Leo Manzano to death.

A bullet is a bullet. If you shoot at someone, you are using deadly force in the eyes of the law - whether you kill them or not. Having Z-Max bullets or a green biohazard grip isn't enough to prove premeditation. If it were, then I'd steer clear of the Mk25 in case a jury thinks you're a wannabe Navy SEAL in an imaginary war zone.

At the end of the day, this discussion is just opinion versus opinion versus opinion versus opinion. Just shoot your bad guys however you want to, and leave everyone else to do the same.
