Seems like yesterday when I bought my first Sig...because it was yesterday.
P220R DAK (.45 ACP)
Very tough choice between a SA XDM Competition and the Sig. Sig won because:
1) Sig Reliability
2) Smaller size than my Beretta 92S 9mm (former Italian LE), so I could carry the Sig more comfortably - *****NEED SUGGESTION FOR OWB HOLSTER*****
3) DAK trigger (Thanks to YouTube videos explaining DAK triggers and how to shoot them properly)
4) Really *great* price for a Sig that is in like new condition
I'm looking forward to getting my first Sig. Thanks for this forum. Hope I'm able to contribute enough because I know how much I'm going to benefit from it.

Well, I am a new arrival to SIG. My son was badgering me [gently] for months to get a G19. He was so worried that all I carried every day was a .380 in my pocket and I wouldn't have enough firepower "when the time came". I have a Taurus 709 Slim and a Ruger SR9c that I rotate in deep concealment and they both work very well.
I had looked at the P250 but didn't get it. It was getting bashed because of the trigger, but I have a Smith SW40VE that works fine. I grew up with heavy, DA triggers in the 1970's so no big deal.
Then, I discovered the P320 and saw that the military adopted it. Long story short, I was sold on the concept and bought the P320c-FLS. Thinking any day now it will be back home after the upgrade.
I am very happy that I got the P320. I have carried it in deep concealment [with full slide] and an extra mag for whole workdays with no problem.

I grew up with guns and my Dad was the Dad that taught all the kids in the neighborhood how to shoot, hunt and fish. I learned to shoot handguns on Smith & Wesson revolvers and a Browning 9mm auto. As I got older and had children, we only had one wheel gun in the house for self protection. When my kids were old enough to start learning to shoot I bought a safe and began to fill it up. The Signess started when they ran a special, buy a Sig 1911 and get a Sig 1911 22LR for free. I believe that was January of 2010. That first purchase was a Sig1911 nitron fastback. Then a MK25 226 about a year later. Now I have 6 Sigs. Now, I am that Dad in the neighborhood that takes all of the kids to the range to teach them to shoot. I guess it comes around full circle.
