Question on P6 Slide Wear

I have noticed on my P6 that there seems to be excessive wear by where the trigger bar protudes up above the grip on the right side of the frame. I notice wear nowhere else except for that spot. It is just forward of the cutout that looks like the recess for the trigger bar on the slide. Is this normal or should I have it looked at by my local gs?

Can you quantify the wear you are seeing? Do you know the round count on this pistol?

I see some wear in those same areas on my 229, which I believe is of similar design. Round count is just over 1300. I see some burnishing of the finish on the slide, 3/16" long, just forward of the trigger bar cutout. The top of the trigger bar protrusion shows more metal wear. I thought this to be normal wear. I take care to keep this, and other slide rail areas, well greased

I believe these features (the slide cutout and the trigger bar protrusion) are part of the "disconnect" function that prevents firing when the breech isn't fully locked in position. Hoping someone more knowledgeable than me can confirm or correct me.
