Seems to be random which ones show up on the guns. Mine (made 2/6/12 per the sticker on the box) says Sig Sauer.

Mine was made this year and says SIG SAUER (w/ lanyard hole)on the small and sigpro (w/no lanyard hole) on the medium. Some have the protruding lanyard mount. The Exeter built display I saw in the store has three dot contrast sights. I have the two dot contrast. Random is the word.

Date of manufacture?: 17-Jul-2012, Mislead by operators manual in that my gun had no loaded chamber indicator, and an internal extractor. Other than that , it's a real fine gun, so far!
Also, it has the SigLite nite sights. It's a real comfort, when awakened in the wee small hours and those three dots tell you: "here I am, on the head-board"! It's also a beacon in the gloom which guides me back from the loo. Though I still trip over the dogs!

I also was thrown by what the manual says about the loaded chamber indicator. I wasnt sure what the differences if any were between the Pro and the one that doesnt say pro. Mine does not say pro.

Reguardless of what they say and dont say My gun shoots great and i really am happy with it

It has more to do with which grips they include and date of production than origin of production.

IIRC ~2010 was when they created the more "ergonomic" grips, which where in a "new small" and "new medium," and both said Sig Sauer.

All off the "old" style grips say "SigPro" on them.

The new medium ones (that say Sig Sauer) practically don't exist anywhere to buy aftermarket. Hence, when I bought a medium last year, it was the old style medium that says SigPro.

Mine was a June or July 2010 production from Eckernforde and it came with only one grip, the new style small, with Sig Sauer on it. Probably a contract overrun, who knows.
