Could you elaborate on this condition? BTW, I don't own a 2022 and am not real familiar with it's mechanicals.

barrel roll

stated before i had to send my sp2022 in for repair,as i noticed that the top of the barrel was rolled over and hanging up ONLY when i charged the pistol after reloading.it operated fine after the slide was seated by appling va gentle nudge to the underside of the barrel assembly,YEA THAT AINT WORKIN! So i sent it back to Sig and they replaced the barrel and slide assembly, amazing customer service as i had it back inside of a week.No explanation as to why this happened,material\ME? i have not been able to talk to any one yet. went to the range yesterday works perfict again I LOVE this pistol.picture of the barrel [new-as referance] to so where i found the proublem,i totaly spaced getting a pic of the damaged one. pen indicates where the damage acured[flet edge pushed back a good 1\16 of an inch with sharp edges that caught the slide

So what you are saying is that the slide was creating a burr on the barrel where it locks into the ejection port of the slide. Glad to hear that Sig hooked you up so quickly. I am assuming that something was out of tolerance in either the ejection port or the breech of the barrel causing it to roll a burr.

Where did you order it from? If it is a Stainless rod from Steve Bedair then you shouldn't have any problems out of it. I have one of his rods in my 2022 and it works just fine.
