offtopic: just came back from the range with the 2022. 200 more rounds and still not even 1 failure. : )
Yes, there are, it's a great pistol.
My Tacops has around 800 rounds, no issues at all, eats everything that I feed it.

P226! the 2022 is similar in size to the p229. A full size p226 in 9mm will be fun as hell.

do you want a full size gun? If I'm hefting something the size of a 1911, I'm pulling the trigger on a .45

I got my 229 last week and LOVE it. I've never shot a 226 though so I can't really comment

A little late to the party, but . . . .

Sounds like it's already been decided, but compared to the 2022, the 226 is slightly bigger; the 229 ever so slightly smaller.

I bought a 228 after I had a 2022, and was surprised that the grips, sight radius, and overall length of the 228 were just a wee bit smaller than the 2022. I thought they would be the same. I was under the impression that the 2022 was the "polymer version" of the 228/229.

. . . . if I sound even the slightest bit dissappointed - I'm not !
Actually, it convinced me to buy the small grip for the 2022 - now they both feel the same.

+1 for the 226 tacops. i own one myself, 5000+ rds downrange and no problems with the gun or ammo. i usually shoot speer lawman. my favorite gun to shoot, and everyone who shoots it wants their own.
