for a quick line up yes you can get center mass. to get a decent group is MUCH harder. the classic three dot is better for precision shooting.

My 2022 has those sights. I'm still adjusting to them.

My 2022 has the 3-dot SigLites, which are amazingly bright. But for daytime range shooting, the 3 dot contrast are much easier to see. Before I bought, I rented, and tried both. I do like the 3 dot configuration, though.

Yea, have to say I still need the "training wheels"! Though, every now and then I can lay down a few runs in a decent group without them; got to get in that zone to do it.

Perhaps I'm a little edgy because I just got back from the range and shot horribly but I'm starting to hate these sights.
I shot low to the point of frustration. After a while I was starting to second Guess I was using the correct sight picture.
Shot the PPQ well though.

I ordered a sp2022 from Palmetto State Armory and have yet been able to pick it up due to a "delay"... While PSA was calling in my info I asked to look at the gun and I noticed that it did not come with the three dot sight config and also came in a cardboard box. I could care less about the cardboard box but not having the three dot sight is still bugging me. I asked to look at another sp2022 that they had in the display case and it did have the three dot sight sight. I am wondering if I could refuse the single dot sight and ask to receive the three dot sight config. I also noticed that the slide did not look like it was nitron coated it looked like it was starving for oil. I really want to refuse receiving the pistol. let me know what you think

exactly. on mine, you have to get the top of the rear white block to juuuuusssst touch the bottom of the front sight

I'm thinking of marking the top of the rear sight block with white out. This way I can line up the front & rear without having to rely on the rear white block.

Same here--was slightly disappointed that it had no plastic case and no 3 dot sight. Mine is not refundable so I was thinking about getting a night site set. Does anyone know if this is something easy for a newbie to handle or is this a gunsmith job? If so how much do you think it would cost to have them installed? Wish I had sprung the extra $56 when I ordered the thing.

If you do not purchase the correct sight pusher for the SP2022 I would have a gunsmith do it for you or you can send it to Sig to have some installed but that will cost more than finding a competent gunsmith install them. If you have the sights most gunsmiths will charge between $20 and $50 to install, some gun shops will install for free if you purchase the nightsights from them. Your best bet would be to call around to all your local gun shops and see who has the best deal for what you are wanting to do. Just be sure that they have a reputable gunsmith that will not damage your gun while doing the install.
