New P229 Elite Dark...

I bought this beauty over a week ago and my son and I just got through putting about 100 rounds through it. It was sweet just holding it in the gun shop, but sweeter still firing it! What a great gun! My son was drooling by the time we finished! Very happy with my new Sig, to go along with my Mosquito!

A fellow P229 owner! I had to stop after about 60+ rounds yesterday (wanted to save at least 10 rounds, otherwise it's just an expensive club). My first stop after work today is the local sports store for more ammo and a speed loader. If you need a holster, a NITB Sig-branded (ITAC?) roto-paddle holster was included when I got my gun yesterday. I'm going a different way, holster-wise, so it's for sale.

Congratulations! But in your excitement, you have forgotten to post pics which is both understandable and correctable.

I agree the sig p229 elite dark is a awsome firearm and my main conceal carry weapon. Im not going to lie its a bit heavy, even with an alluminum frame. But once you get use to the weight on your hip with a good holster and belt I somtimes forget I have a gun on me. I originally bought mine in .40 cal but I bought the .357 sig drop in conversion barrel for higher velocity and better penetration. The weapon has performed 100% flawless... not one problem in over a year and a little over 2,000 rounds throught it, cheap bulk ammo, speer gold dots for defence and incendary tracer rounds for fun it eats them all up. I also added a crimson trace laser grip becaused I realized if I were ever in a stressful situstion and I had to use my weapon for defence I would not have time to use my combat sights and if Im going to release a deadly .357 round I want it to hit dead on target. The price for the laser is crazy high like 400$ putting my gun at 1,300 in price plus the 150$ for the conversion barrel but they are the only company to make a laser grip and they garanty their product and service it no charge for 3 years. So a sig p229 elite dark in .357 sig with laser grips is a bad *** defence handgun in my opinion and if you want a high quality reliable gun its going to cost you atleast 800$ or more but you do get what you pay for.

Mine is a tack driver and eats all the garbage ammo I feed it. Its the most accurate 40s&w i have ever shot and right there with my custom 1911.
It's perfect.

Mystro,

Great photography! Nice pistol, too.

Mine's a black SAS in 9mm.
