read reviews and you will know why. seriously, I researched on and off for a week. every main forum, 1911, XD qr15 ect. the majority get the midway bag.

I've had several bags, but this is the best one I've had. It will hold up to the weight and any abuse.

Would that be my pistols bag, my clays bag, my pheasant/quail bag, or my simple-smithing bag or my secondary range bag?

And I, too, have the B&D cordless 18v. Great for cleaning up a smoothbore in jiffy.

A girlfriend once remarked I had a lot of bags and shoes for a straight guy. I had to explain to her that shooting, hunting and fishing ... it's 1/2-way about the prep. You only get X amount of trigger time or time on the water, so you don't want to screw yourself over by fumbling for stuff. Besides, guns come in a lot of gauges and calibers, and I like most of them.

Plus, you know a fella's also got to carry a couple leads, some treats and a human/canine, vest-portable first-aid kit in his bird bag. Got to take care of the bird finders! And a butter knife to scrape sh*t and mud off the boots. Were talking about very important stuff here!

I'm 48, and I think I'm still making up for not having been a Boy Scout.

LLBean's smaller range bag. Pretty inexpensive and nice features.

I went for a tool bag instead, its inconspicuous...

I use a tool bag I bought at Lowe's this year. I bought the 18 inch AWP version with many extrrnal pockets. Think it is called "Monster Mouth" for how nicely it opens up. Many pockets inside too. $19.99! It is tough as nails! There is another version shown online with a leather bottom and no pockets outside. That isn't it.

Check in the store.
