Hey everyone, I took out my guns today for their routine cleaning and inspection and I wanted to ask you guys about some wear on my slide. It's hard to explain in words, so I've attached a photo with a description. I've had no issues with the gun, but this uneven surface concerns me, especially since I'm very finicky about lubrication. I get my guns out at least once or twice a month to clean out old grease/oil and replace it with new lubrication. And I can say with all honesty that the surface in question gets a good layer of oil on it. I also disassemble and lubricate my guns before I go to the range, every time. I just want to know if it is normal to see this kind of wear or if I should be contacting SIG about a bad slide.

Thanks Jeff. I figured it was normal because of the amount of care I put into the gun, but I had never actually felt that part with my finger. Just looking at it, it's hard to tell there's a dip, so it's pretty light.
Also, thanks again for the Lucas Gun Oil! I used it yesterday before I went to the range and after when I cleaned the gun. It works great!
