Emporer Scorpion holster

I am really needing your feedback on a holster . So far i have tried a blackhawk holster . I really like it and like the push button feature and how it puts your trigger finger in position. But what my lgs had was real tight and was already marking up the pistol . Is there one that fits correctly ? If so can you give me the exact model ? i am hoping the right one will adjust so it doesn't wear finish down to fast .

I have always been a leather holster guy also . But hard to find one that fits the railed emperor scorpion. Any suggestions on what model works ? looking for owb or something that hooks on my belt . And one that will secure and not rub my hip raw . One of the gun shops was saying that leather will wear the finish faster than the blackhawk . If you have something that works can you include a pic ? I am already tired of searching the net .

Thank you for your help and suggestions.

I would want something with a warm, soft and fuzzy lining for that beauty!

I had stoner holsters do a custom leather holster for my scorpion and it came out very nice. Mine has the rail as well. No holster wear at all. Also very cheap for custom leather

put the holster only in the oven on a cookie sheet. no padddle attached

turn it on and let it warm up to 350 than take it out

wrap the pistol in a thick sock and ram it put it in the holster.

let it cool off and remove.

now it wont be so tight

Ops,

That looks rounded like it only fits traditional 1911 slides.

The Emperor Scorpion has Sig's "proprietary" "flat-top" slide. Will this holster fit the Sig-specific slides?

Very true goneballistic. So far every holster i have tried that is made for a 1911 with rail . Has been very tight , even turning the retention all the way out . Tugging up on the pants while trying to draw pressing the button tight . Thank you Ops but the scorpion does have a blocky outline and add the rail . Makes for a chore to find a holster

You should immediately discontinue use of this holster. I know that sounds rash but look up that holster on YouTube and see any one of the many breakdowns of how you can risk shooting yourself with that holster. I had one and didnít believe it for the longest time but after talking with competitive and knowledgeable shooters; Iím now a believer in how unsafe using that holster is. Thereís nothing dangerous about the holster itself, the danger lies in the way it trains your brain/finger to squeeze in vicinity of the trigger, potentially causing you to squeeze the trigger itself as you draw. You likely will never have a problem on the range in a controlled environment but in a panic during a conflict situation, the possibility exists that you could squeeze the trigger quickly while trying to get the pistol out of the holster. Just my .02 here, not telling ya what to do but definitely warning you of the danger.

Hereís a few sources. Thereís many videos out there.

Garrett Holsters makes a kydex holster with leather lining. I had one for a 226 and liked the holster but their mounting clips were weak and broke. Holster was nice. I made my own clips.
