Bought my first sig today

I have been shooting for 10 years and have owned many handguns. This is my first Sig. I have been a Glock fan but I fell in love with the feel of this P250 grip and its smooth trigger. It was at my local gun shop since May and I've thought about getting it a few times. While dealing with a Gen4 Glock 19 with some ejection issues that happen so few that its hard to diagnose, I started having failure to ejects and some stove pipes yesterday. So this morning I went to that shop and traded off the 19 for a new to me P250 SC in 9mm. It was made June of 2011 so I hope its not one of the buggy ones. I will shot it tonight and update.

Well I shot it after work. It took about two mags to find point of impact and where to hold my sights. After that I was bouncing a pepsi can with every shot a 10 yards. I shot 60 some rounds with no malfunctions. I shot Hornady 115 gr XTP, Hornady CD, 147 gr Hyda shoks, 147 gr WWB JHP and 124gr +p Gold Dots. The 115gr Hornady XTP was by far the most accurate. It is a little light for my taste as a carry round but I cant argue with the facts, so I'll be carrying that round in mine. I have to say I love this gun. It is also so much easier to conceal than the glock I got rid of for it. Im carrying it OWB in a galco Jak slide holster and it hides great with just a tee shirt at 3:00.

You made the right decision! I just got a 226 in .40S&W and feel I made the right choice.
I'm new to this forum too, another good decision....seems like lots of nice people on here!

Just did its first cleaning. I used the little tube of grease that came in the box with the gun. I put it on the rails and barrel lug and hood. For the internals I just wiped them off and put a drop of hoppes oil on the moving parts. Do you guys use the grease that came with it?? Ive never greased a gun before only used gun oil.

Congratulation and welcome to the forum. The more I shoot my girlfriends P250
the more I feel I spent too much money buying other pistols. It does it all. Shawn
