I wouldn't trade either of those for a 320. If you're brand loyal, save up for it. If you want a great striker fired pistol and aren't set on Sig, you can get a brand new P10C for $389 from CDNN right now... Just another option.

I would have no interest in any DAK models, but that is just me. The p320 is a great gun (especially sub compact for concealed carry). I see used (near mint condition) for sale for $399, so easy to find cheap. However if I was you, I would wait until you can get the new
p320 X Compact. In my opinion, seems to be the best of the best in the p320 modular line-up. Or get a p320 sub compact. There is not much better for concealed.

If you are not carrying the p229 or the p226 then it is definitely worth it to get one.

Also worth noting that not all p229's are created equal in terms of value. Police trade ins area a dime a dozen...

Do you only get to keep one? I recently bought my first pistol, a Beretta APX Centurion and am contemplating one more. I held a P320 full-size at the LGS and I'd love to own one.

I wouldn't trade a P226 or P229 for a P320. Like others have said, save up and buy a P320.

I own a P320c and like it, but did not EDC it due to the lack of a manual safety until I picked up a P320 M17.

I found the P320 M17 a little large for EDC. I found one way around this problem is to mount my P320c slide and barrel on the M17 lower, other than the color mismatch it solves the MS issue. That is one nice thing about the P320 series is its modularity.

I just don't feel safe with a striker fired gun and no MS. Normally I use my P228 DA/SA for EDC.

Even with that said I don't think I could trade off a classic sig for P320.

Im going to the gun store tomorrow, to see what they have in the 320X5,
does anyone know if they are still being made in nitro, or stainless?

I've had great luck picking up "Unissued PD trade-ins" of P320 Carry and P320 Sub Compacts. They come with one mag and night sights. Presently they have the P320s in stock. Forgive me if I'm not supposed to provide the website, but I bought at recoilgunworks.com

I've bought 4 handguns from them and If I have the proper information to them, they shipped within 2 weekdays of the order.
