i got burned by a vendor on gunsamerica, not delivering what was advertised & confirmed by email before payment, so i haven't made an online purchase since & probably won't unless from a known, reliable vendor.

I meant before you finished the deal at your LGS or FFL...when I buy over the internet (and have a couple of times...I look at the pistol I am buying before the deal is done...I've missed stuff (in all the excitement of the new toy) even then...

many of the vendors say "no return", so not liking the merchandise at the receiving ffl doesn't mean much.

first, you will NEVER repeat NEVER talk to the smith. the CSRs are very likely not even within the same zip code as the shop/factory.
and Op, please take this as constructive critisizm. a rant is one thing, but your very "tone" is adversarial, and you are leaping to conclusions also, your spell check isn't working apparently. This is a great forum to get help, and as most have said here, Sig has a good CS reputation. as somone who WORKS customer service, if you have a rep who si not "getting it" ask for a supervisor.
and DON't be adversarial or rude. it will get you absolutely no where.

Sorry to hear you had a bad experience. I have had one experience with Sig CS. They called me and thanked me for purchasing a Sig pistol. I've never had that happen before. I hope you get things worked out but I would recommend calling again.
