what has sig become

I have been shooting and collecting guns for 50 years never had a bad one, until i bot a sig 1911 target 2 days later it was on its way to sig, they turned it around in 1 day wow,got it back they said it was all in spec. they didn't even shoot it i marked the inside of the barrel with a sharpy, the 2 mags that were gouged up by a burr in the mag well were not replaced and the burr i removed when i got it back. NEVER AGAIN

There is a lot going on at Sig and the evolution is mostly not good. If the Cohen era continues much longer, a once proud gun manufacturer will be damaged beyond repair.

One-day turnaround = processing mistake.

Talk to someone on the phone, and have the tracking numbers handy. They'll pay for shipping to get it back to them once more, and home again.

Agreed....one day turn around? something don't sound right. A mistake was made somewhere. Call them and talk to the Customer service, they will work it out with you. I just talked with the LE rep today from Sig. I just asked them about replacing a officers grips that was scratched in a fight call. This is not covered in a warranty. They covered it and told me they would send out two pair in case it happens again. PLUS they are giving me a free pen!! LOL

Good luck. I hope you can get this resolved and Sig turns this around. It really doesn't bode well for Sig if more things like this occur.

What is the exact problem you're experiencing and what ammo are you using?

I'm new to the Sig world but I can tell you my kimber Ultra Covert II .45 ACP is a *****. I can pump Hornady rounds allday, Winchester SXZ or remingtom UMC forget it.
My Beretta PX4 .45 I could use a reload with black cat fire cracker power a fresh picked buger & a tapon and no smoke pipe.
It's all about the gun & ammo.

I hate to read these post about how Sig has fallen due to mass production.

No, the site is unaffiliated with Sig Sauer. Most likely your home internet provider has blocked the site, and you'll need to talk to them to get it unblocked. We're not "out to get you".

If it is a used firearm, then the Sig limited lifetime warranty does not transfer owners - it's valid to the original purchaser only. Here's the link: https://www.sigsauer.com/CustomerSer...eWarranty.aspx
You might have to take it up with your gun dealer.

I'd like to see some pictures.

But either way, it sounds like you got burned by your dealer, not by Sig.
