p239: What's its worth?

I bought a p239 .357 with night sights 9 years ago. Basically it has sat in a night stand drawer for that entire time virtually unused. Looking to sell it because everything else I have is .40 S&W and to help fund 2 SP2022s in .40 with 12 extra mags.

So what is it worth on the used market? It is excellent, never carried, shot a few times (then cleaned - prob under 150 rds), night sights, extra Hogue grip (have orig) box, book, 2 mags, Fobus paddle holster

shearpinn, Why not sell me the .357Sig barrel and buy a .40 S&W barrel so
you have everything in a common caliber? Shawn

Yes...barrel swap would give you a fine pistol in your preferred caliber...

yes, the .40 barrel would get me into my common caliber but it puts more $ into a pistol that I don't use. I have picked up others over the years including 2 & extra mags last week. I have inventoryed things and re-aligned goals (and other big buzz words) & this is the 1 that is slated to recoup some cash for $ already spent.

Thanks

shearpinn, A new 239 sells for $725-$750. If you are selling to an individual
who wants a 239 in .357Sig, you should really take no less than $625. If
you're trading it to a dealer you are most likely looking at $450. The
accessories you have don't really add much to the deal. I know that if
some one comes in my store and starts telling me about how much they have
in holsters and stuff I say "ok, if it's so valuable to you, then I suggest you
keep it. Hope you find this useful. Shawn

I wouldn't pay more than $600 for a used 239.
