New mosquito, what do I do?

So I picked up a mosquito because it's strikingly similar to my 228 and figured it'd be good to train with my girlfriend. Absolutely love the gun, fits my hand great, aims right where I want when I raise my hand, only thing I don't care for is the trigger. I figure it's a .22, and made for children, training, and plinking so it would stand to reason it has a safer trigger. My question is, what are my options? I've spent most of my gun-time with my AR's when it comes to modding, mostly just shoot/clean/maintain when it comes to pistols for me, but something's gotta change on this lil guy. It's not really helping my girlfriend train for the 228 on the mosquito when they have such vastly different triggers. So is there a kit, or new springs, a drop-in, anything? Or should I just send it to a smith?

edit, advanced, delete

trigger control is trigger control & she won't be afraid of the recoil with the 22.

Ya she's getting used to it and loves shooting both, but when she goes from the 9 to the .22 she ends up firing prematurely the first couple rounds cuz of muscle memory from the .22. I'd be lieing if I said it doesn't happen to me every so often. The 9 has a nice crisp break pretty early on but the mosquito doesn't break til the very end. So gettin used to the 22 break for a few weeks than grab the 9, you're in for a surprise pretty early. Seeings as its going to be a defense gun, I don't want her having to think about what trigger she's pulling in an emergency. Maybe I'll just keep the mosquito out of her hands and have her train with the 9.

Thanks for the help on the edit also

I recommend using CCI Mini-Mags, the Sig Sauer suggested ammo. They cost more, but I had less problems with my Mosquito when I used the Mini-Mags.

Ya I'm running the cci tactical now. It's what I run in my m&p 15-22 AR so it's handy. Pretty much same as mini-mags with a slightly different nose to help for feeding. I have noticed every once in a while, prolly once every 4th clip, the ejector doesn't pull the casing out. It locks the slide back, but the casing is still fully in the chamber. That was with Blazers tho. After inspecting the spent casings, they had like a sticky film on them. My last box of blazers wasn't like that. Is there different types of blazers? Cuz my old box had a bunch of smaller boxes of 50 in it and those ran great, but this was just loose ammo and it was ****. Really thinking my fte's and jamming was the ammo.
