First Sig. P220 Combat

Hello everyone. Just purchased my first Sig. picked up a used (shows almost zero wear) P220 combat. Also came with 7 mags ( 1- 10round, and 6- 8 round). The mags are all stamped Sig and Italy. I was wondering where i should get replacement mag springs (Non aftermarket- Same springs that came in them), for the mags made in italy. Also, just wondering if their is anything i need to know. I am an experienced shooter, Mainly glocks, but this is my first sig.

Thanks for the kind words, everyone.

No reason to change mag springs, except i figured they might be old. I bought the gun used. Is their a way to tell which mags i have? Also, is there a way to tell if the mag spring is worn out?

Sorry it took so long for me to reply. I was out of town.

if they work, they're fine...do your mags have anything about SiG Sauer or SiGARMS on them and Made in Italy, then they should be MecGars...

You've got a nice pistol. I have the P220 Stainless Elite carry and I love it. Very accurate and zero issues! I put some Hogue grips on it and I haven't looked back. The pistol I depend on. http://i1126.photobucket.com/albums/...r/DSC_0081.jpg

Some great looking guns!

Yes, the mags say Sig Sauer I think (maybe sig arms?). Also, they are all stamped "made in italy". Pick it up in a week. Hope all goes well!

I wish I could have that threaded barrel version. I can buy the barrel just can't be in the gun, Ca gun laws suck (hence my user name). I just got my 22lr conversion kit and can't wait to try it out. The 22lr mags are expensive for being all plastic with no hold open on the last round but ordered the aluminum followers from Sigpower.com for the hold open feature.

Where can I purchase Mec-Gar mag springs? Are the replacement mag springs available for Sig the correct ones?
