Look What Arrived a Few Days Early...

...as some of you know, I am not new to SiGs but I am new to the SiG Pro...

...while waiting 30 days for my first to arrive and reading how everyone just loves their SiG Pro, I became restless and when I saw this rare SiG Pro appear...I eventually made a play for it and bought it...

I picked it up toady just a little bit ago...disassembled it as it has been just sitting NIB for some time, cleaned and lubed it and took some quick pics...

It is my SiG Pro SPC 2009...a 9mm SiG Pro SP 2009 with a slide marked "SPC" (but not a SiG Pro Compact that they can get in Europe)...it has European-Old School like engraving on the top of the slide and the off side is engraved with the SiG Custom Shop logo...

...nicely engraved and not laser etched it is one of the 300 made...who knows what it was meant for as it is a SiG Pro Commemorative but the come in an aluminum case, pistol, all the usual stuff and a hi cap and 10 round magazine in 9mm only...

...after a clean and lube it has a trigger that seems smoother than my slightly older SP 2340 in 357 SiG and I like this version of the decocking lever better than the SP 2340 but not as much as the ones on the SiG P Series I have owned...

...it seems lighter with 16 total 9mm cartridges (Speer Gold Dot 124GR Hollow Points) than the SP 2340 does with 13 total cartridges (Speer Gold Dot 125GR Hollow Points) and both of mine have the Von Stavenhagen dot the i sights...

I think so bear...I don't like buying for collector's sake but I know some of the really beautiful (at least to me) pistols I buy I have moved on to others who can appreciate them more if I can't bring myself to shoot them.

thanks everyone...

If you decide this is one you can't bring yourself to shoot, I have room in my safe for it. Just tryin' to be helpful. Shawn

i'm not a collector (only have 2 guns) but I chose Sig for the reputation and because the guns are simply beautiful. I'm not saying they are better than other brands (they are ) but I just can't buy another brand when the 220 Equinox, 229 SS, 226 Elite and all those Sigs 1911 are waiting for me

I'll buy a glock and a MP when I finish with the Sigs.

That is a fine looking gun....

Don't know if I would shoot it though? It needs to be behind glass.
