No. Do you have a P290 or a P290RS?

Original p290. Why? Did they upgrade the ejector on the RS model?

Well, the bad news is that SIG will only pay shipping for the first year and I bought this in April 2011. Yes, I was told this by SIG. It's already been back once to fix the "light strike" syndrome.

I really regret buying this pistol. I like it, but I am mad that SIG is forcing Gen 1 owners to pay $150 to upgrade to the RS internals. I will never buy a new SIG again. I'll stick to my old German stamped p228.

I can't imagine ever again buying a new production Sig handgun. There's too much risk these days and the Classic line (1989-97) is so damn dependable. I did buy a new M400, however, and must admit it has been 100% reliable through about 1000 rounds so far.
