I have a P226 in 357 Sig and it shoots real low at 5 and 10 yards. I got an LPA adjustable sight from Fusion Supply. It fits well and doesn't flop around, but it sticks off the rear of the slide and looks unsafe and non-secure to me. I ordered a set of sights from Dawson Precision. (Just now)
For some reason, probably my own fault, I can't get a picture to transfer.. I'll try later on another computer..
How did it shoot at 25 yards, single action, from a rested position?
Depending on how far off you were, and the sight numbers you had, a Springfield Armory XD rear sight uses the same dovetail size, and their Ameriglo rear sights are a #10 equivalent rear sight height. https://ameriglo.com/collections/sig-xd
I was consistently low 2 - 3 inches. I have the Dawson sight set on the way. I kinda wanted to try them anyway. I like Sig Lite Night Sights, but I wanted to go for these Dawson's.
Yes, Sig and SA use the same size dovetails. I have TruGlo TFO's in a couple of pistols, too. Some of the TruGlo packages say both Sig and SA on them.
