I did the same to my Elite. Big improvement over the E2.

WAY TOO MUCH.

Keep looking....

He is counting on a high price because it is out of production, but don't fall for it.

Okay, so the seller has accepted my offer of $850 and he closed the sale on GB. I'm just waiting for him to take care of the details with setting up his FFL for the transfer to my FFL. I told him I would not send payment until I knew that both FFLs were clear and ready. NIB 227R-45-BSS with the 2 mags and an April 2014 build.

Good job...The first order of business (for me) would be replacing that short reach trigger with a Grayguns trigger and installing an SRT...

That is my plan! Either Grayguns or Armory Craft, I'm not sure which and definitely the SRT.

I'm uncertain about how the Sig warranty works. I'm capable of adding these myself and I don't know if I should be worried about the warranty or if it would even apply to the gun as it maybe NIB, but it's 6 years old...? I'd rather not have to bother with having Sig add the parts.

Just keep the old parts and reinstall them before sending it back...

^^^^A reasonable idea and I would hope that I won't ever need to send it back.

That's a good thing!! I have checked the pics I received of the gun and the box and the serial numbers match. If they didn't I would not buy it.

So I’d agree that $750 sounds like a place to start...Given his initial price I’d be surprised if he let it go for less than $850-875…which might be his acceptable range anyway.
Just picked up my P227 Equinox pre-owned and barely shot at all at my LGS for $700.... I would start at $700 in my humble opinion. Looks like I was a little late on this one.
