The P226 is way too big for IWB in my opinion.

I personally would only open carry something that big.

A P226 is just a little longer than a P229 and I have friends who carry those IWB. I carry a P225A1 in a Vedder holster. They make quality stuff, lots of options, check them out. You will definitely need a quality belt to handle the weight.

I carried my "duty" German made P226 9mm, 25 years ago in a Galco Royal Guard holster. I have to agree with bblr as far as "appendix" carry, but behind the hip isn't bad with a covering garment. It's one reason I prefer "carry" choices without a rail, as less available "snags".

Galco still makes the Royal Guard which is horsehide, and also the Summer Comfort, which is cowhide, but not for the MK25, but for the P226R.

You may want to check out G-Code, as they have setups for the MK25... https://www.tacticalholsters.com/sto...olster-g-code/

Milt Sparks VersaMax 2 or their EX models for standard (3-4 o'clock) IWB carry. I am looking for a good leather AIWB holster. The Safariland Model 27 seems to work well for me, but I do not like the J-hook belt attachment.

It's not my summer carry. But, I have carried my MK25 IWB comfortably.
I have a Galco King Tuk that works well. Take a look.

P.S. It'll also carry my M11A1 with a little wobble.

It’s a great holster. It holds my gun close to my body. Which I like. It’s easier to use in the winter months for concealment.

I donít think itís a question of if it can be done or not, I mean, you could carry a shotgun concealed if you really wanted to. The question is just, why would you want to?

Since you have both a P226r and a P220r, will they both fit the same holster? I have a P220r Scorpion and am finding holsters for a 226 but 220 not listed. Thanks
