Among my P225 and pair of P6, the reason I acquired the specific P6 with a really worn slide was for one simple objective:
>> I wanted a truly worn, additional P6 which does Not need to be 'babied' <<, although it is (never abused) cleaned as often as the other two Sigs, both of which have an excellent, almost near-mint finish and external conditions.
The German federal officer(s) put lots of very shiny wear on the rear, upper areas of the slide, but the frame is in excellent condition.
The chin has the weird, tiny 'eagle' as proofmark, indicating a Bundes/ federal test on the gun, or maybe it was tested 'for' a federal agency such as the "Bundeskriminalamt" or Grenzschutz etc.

My favorite is my SIG P229 Enhanced Elite w/SRT chambered in .357 SIG, .40 S&W and 9mm (via a Bar-Sto Conversion Barrel) with XS Standard Dot Night Sights, Hogue black checkered G10 grips (secured with 40/357 Nylok Grip Screws), Grayguns trigger (w/factory internals), Grayguns Custom Fat Super Black Guide Rod, Legion/P224 decocker, OEM Nickel Slide Release (but I also have a black Legion/P224 slide stop), and Mec-Gar magazines with +2 base plates.
Next to it is my Langdonized Beretta PX4 Storm Compact Inox in 9mm.
My P229 is my favorite SIG pistol (and by far my favorite pistol for .357 SIG generally). My Beretta is without a doubt my favorite 9mm pistol.
15 rounds of .357 SIG vs. 20 rounds of 9mm

My 320 might be my favorite Sig but My Sig 1911 Tacops 9mm is the most fun to shoot.
Very accurate, Soft recoil.
Almost afraid to take it to the range because Iíll burn through through my ammo. It puts me in a trance.

My favorite right now is probably my German P226, which I got as more of a collector gun than one I shoot a lot. I got it because it's the Sig that I first fell in love with back in the 80's...the classic folded-steel slide Sig wondernine.
Here it is with a P228 of the same era, which I got for the same reasons.....
