I have a KE in similar shape and I would not refinish it but then it is a car gun for that very reason

Donít feel bad. I didnít notice till this morning. Especially since the OP is blurring our serial numbers and such.
I donít understand the blurring out of serial number thing at all.

Thanks for the advice, all. I think I'll take the advice and change out parts to suit my tastes for shooting, but nothing permanent. Trigger, sights, etc. I might give it a good cleaning with these sights off atv the spots in worried about and likely keep the finish as is.

As for blocking over the serial, I forget exactly the reasons, but a good LE friend of mine recommended it if I post pics. It's now a habit even though I can't remember why?
