Question about P226 .22lr and the SRT

So I just got into pistol shooting and think I've decided on a P226 .22lr as my first gun (really like the ability to later "upgrade" to a 9mm or .40 with one of the x-change kits), but I've got a quick question. I held a P226 9mm with E2 grips and the Short Reset Trigger and really liked it, but unfortunately none of the gun shops around me have any .22 version. And looking around online I can't seem to find a retailer that specifically mentions the SRT.

Is it just that all P226's with the E2 grips also have the SRT standard so no one mentions it, or does Sig just not make a .22lr P226 with the SRT?

Don't sweat it.
I believe the P-226 .22 Classic takes all the upgrades Sig offers for that series, including the SRT.

I sent my back to Sig for an action job and could have had the SRT installed . The parts kits are available and can be done yourself if you are familiar with taking them apart/reassembling.
The turnaround at Sig is about 2 weeks from what I have found.

The 226 in .22 is an effortless gun to shoot with no recoil issues.

When it put my .357 sig conversion on, it's a totally different gun that's capable of bringing a huge smile to anyone who tries it.

I could be totally wrong but I thought the E2 in production comes with the
srt stock .. But again, I could be wrong

My P-226 .22 LR Classic came in an E2 configuration without the SRT.
It came with 2 mags and was made in July 2011.
Maybe the newer ones add the SRT, don't know.
It duplicates my match rifle 2 stage triggers so it's no biggie for me. But I do like the triggers on my 1911's and my 226 is completely different.

My P226 22LR had the E2 grips and the SRT. It is one nice shooter. I also have the 9mm X-Change kit. Both are fantastic.

I guess I've always gone the other way, both my 226's were elite or the Navy model which had the grip and SRT. If I'm going to spend $900 I might as well spend $1000 for the Elite, I guess. Never considered buying 226 in 22lr then converting up. I got a 22lr conversion so I can shoot 1000 rounds, get used to my trigger pull and grip, and, not go broke. I have to say, it gets pretty tiresome 10 rounds at a time!

"10 Rounds"

Sigpower .22 mag conversion kits take them to 15...and hold the slide for the last shot.

The short plug to go from 10 to 15 is cheap enough all by itself...imho

Even then it is way too few. SIG needs to wake up and at least double the capacity of the 22LR mags.
