Step into my world of justification...
THESE guns hold their value and some actually increase a bit as time goes by. Certainly as much as the interest banks are paying these days. Soooo...Buying quality firearms is as good an investment as putting money in the bank. Therefore, I am investing every available dime wisely and competently on this solid investment...bla, bla, bla.
She's going for it right now but I don't think it will work much longer. We have boys...she knows LEGO's in an unopened box are far more valuable than those that have been played with, etc. I'm starting to see her squint. The latest acquisitions are getting tucked into the gun locker when no one is home. I am dreading my youngest's extreme attention to detail on such matters when I am cleaning something no one knows I have, I mean, um...we have. I have a feeling this caper will soon come to an end and there will be demands of proof that my collection has resale value. I keep buying my boys off with "one day this will be yours" but even they are wondering how many guns they will actually need.
All of them. That's all I ask. Then I'll be done.
