Sig SP2022 - Blackhawk! Serpa Concealment Holster

I picked up a Blackhawk! Serpa Concealment Holster for my SP2022 w/ 1913 picatinny rail. Fits perfectly. Not quite as tight as the Bianchi Evader I bought a few weeks ago, but it is easier to holster the gun and you get a very loud click when the lock activates. Very nice, relatively inexpenive holster. It comes with the belt loops attached. It comes with an optional paddle if you would rather use that.

I've got four of those holster and they are very functional. I really like them. Good choice!

Great holster and great pictures! I'm looking at the "down the barrel" view and there seems to be a bit of space under the rail. Would this holster handle a laser sight on the rail? I have the Crimsom Trace, and it has a pretty small profile.

Thanks,

Kent

Unfortunately, if your laser sight goes attached to the rail... No, it will not fit.

I have two, one for my P226, and another for the SP2022. None of them accept attachments. Not even the SigSauer CLP-RM.

How close does it hold the 2022 to your body? This is a hard gun to conceal. In your third picture, it looks like the grip's really sticking out pretty far.

I carry a 2022 all the time. Nice holster you have ,however I have found Uncle Mikes In the pants holster is the best for carrying a 2022.

I don't mean to be a [email protected] @ss, please don't take me the wrong way.

An IWB is a fantastic idea for people who are fit or have an average body composition.
Personally, I love the idea.

But my Heineken/Jack Daniels / Super Hero Muscular composition makes it a little difficult for me.

That's were the DeSantis Speed Scabbard kicks in

That groove looks empty, but there is a bowed-spring device in it just out of sight that seems to keep some pressure on the dust-cover/rail portion of the gun.

I posted some pics of another holster I bought for this gun, the Bianchi Evader. That holster holds the pistol to the body tighter than the Serpa. The serpa sticks out a bit from the side.

Compared to the Evader, the Serpa is easier to draw from and much easier to reholster. The Evader is easier to conceal. For an OWB holster, the Evader is a much better holster for concealment. The Serpa, IMO, is better for open carry.
