Sig night sights.

Has anyone had the sights changed at Sig from the dot and square to the three dot Siglites sights. Also thinking to have them do the action clean-up at the same time. I would be sending it to the N.H. shop and I have no experience with them. The gun, a p226, has a good action as it is but as long as I had it there
I thought it would be a good idea.
Thanks in advance, Frank.

In 2006 I sent in my 1986 made P225 I'd just acquired...it needed all new springs and the vont Stavenhagen bar dot sights were dinged...I went for just the SiG Service Plan along with a FULL Nitron (they used to Nitron the frame) and it came back like new with brand new, SiG Lights made by Meprolight...the Sig Service Plan at that time was a bargain ($99 IIRC)...I wouldn't hesitate to have them do what you want at SiG Sauer if their current prices work for you...

when you sent it in, how old were the ns when it came back, i've heard 2-3 years old, on some, by date on sites.

My friend sent his P220 in to Sig for a Sig Service Package, which includes the installation of the Sig Lites. He was very satisfied with their work and turn around time. The only regret he had was that he wished he had the short trigger installed at the same time.

Thank you all again. Great response and information.
Has anyone had the short trigger installed? I would like to know how much
of a difference it makes. Thanks again.
Be safe, Frank.

Great for some...not great for others...enough of a difference that I don't like them but I have long fingers and like my SiG triggers regular sized...

many swear by it & some swear at the pinch on the finger.

it depends on the size of your hands, supposedly for women or guys with smaller hands that can't reach the other/standard trigger.
