Yeah, but are they actually in stock? Sig wont even sell them. All of the other sites that list them say out of stock. I ended up sending sig a P239 slide to have them installed because they wouldnt sell them yet. They have the sights... Just wont sell them. But will install them for you. Im interested if optics planet has them in stock

Be sure to call and confirm they are in stock before ordering...I've made the mistake of ordering an item (sig x-ray sights) from Optics Planet based on the "in stock" note on the web site...only to learn they didn't really have them and had no idea when they would -- order cancelled.

I gave up waiting on Optics Planet and cancelled my order. I'm going to wait till later in the year (probably mid-summer) to see if they're more readily available.

Curious what did Sig charge for turn around and did they return the original sights back? Did you just send them the slide or the complete P239?

Turn around time 2-4 weeks, I forgot what they charged me. I'll be getting an invoice when they receive my pistol. Im pretty sure it was $160. Shipping both ways included. And installed by the people who make the gun. It's $50 for shops in my town to install em for me. So it's kind of a wash. Plus they have warranty since they are installing them. I also used the 20% off coupon from the brand new 239 I scored for $700 on gunbroker. If only they would look up my other codes for me...

It looks like all various versions of these are available on Amazon right now for $110-130. I want some night sights for my P239. Would these be a good choice? If I order from Amazon what is the best way to get them installed? Order a specialized tool, or go to the gunsmith? Any recommendations in NE Houston area?

Is it possible to just change the front sight to X-ray IF they are available separately?
Thinking of switching to a #8 front on my P229 because I mainly use it wth the .357 barrel instead of the .40. In that way IF I pop the .40 barrel back in I would have to aim lower rather than higher like now.

Sight height is relative, a set of "8/6" from SIG would be shorter than an "8/6" set of Trijicon HD's (which are both taller overall - the the differential between front and back sight height should be the same (one would hope). So one would have to measure the height of their existing front and back sights, then assuming no change in POI/POA was de
