west germ 228 good buy?

Well I went to my favorite gun shop today and guess what they had a w.ger 228!! it is very clean , looks like it was hardly fired. They were asking 525 for it ,and since I didn't have a sig in a 9mm yet I couldn't stop myself. So did I make a good buy or should I have waited ?

I'm thinking that you scored! Throw an extra coin in the Salvation Army kettle next time you are by one!

I stumbled across one earlier this year. It looked bad and the mag was bad...I showed a little interest and they finally dropped the price to $300......I took it. Cleaned it up, ordered a couple new mags, and hogue rubber grips.........best shooter I have ever had.

Good Deal!!! I picked up a West German P6 a couple months ago for $459. I put some Meprolights and it keeps fairly tight groups...
