Best Cleaner and Lubricant for My Pistol

I own a P250 and right now I use Hoppes products both the cleaner and the lube. Is there anything that would work better for me or anything I should be careful about that I may not be doing or using? This is the best pistol I myself or any of my friends have ever fired...I want to keep it as awesome as it is now for a long time.

I use Mil-Comm products on my P226. They're endorsed by SIG and work great. You can buy a sample of their products in a 3 piece kit for under $20.

I am satisfy with isopropyl for cleaning and FP 10 CLP for lubing for my steel guns. For sig I am using Slide glide for rails and barrel and TW25B for other parts. There are a lot of good products. Personally I had a problem with Militec it was harmful for my skin. However we are different people with different taste.

Hey my fellow West Virginian!! Good to see another Mountaineer on here. I have grown up using Hoppe's for about 31 years, since I started shooting as a little kid. But makes the house/garage reek, so if mama isn't happy, noone's happy. I switched to Rem Oil or CLP from Safariland. Whichever can is closer. For my rails and/or anywhere I see friction (bluing is being stripped off), I roll with a little grease.

Check out this's definitely thorough.

Ex-Hoppes user. I have found through research and trying several products that Mil-Comms product work the best for my handguns. I still use Hoppes for my shotguns but never again on my handguns.

I use TW25B on all my rails, I was surprised to see that Sig includes a sample with the new guns.
