Sight Change on SP2022?

I'm new to this forum so please bare with me. I recently purchased a Sig SP2022 9mm and have put approx 400-500 rounds thru it (as i read you need to break it in). It is consistently shooting low, about 2-3 inches at 10 yards. I have had 2 others shoot it and also low for them. I shot a peers springfield xd and his smith and wesson (don't know model) and i was dead on with both of his guns. I have read and tried the combat sighting and it continues to be the same. i continue to shoot low while using combat sighting. I called Sig today and they advised me that i can change the sites (for an additional $109 of course) to a front #9 and rear #10. Has anyone made this adjustment? Or does anyone have an opinion on doing this or not?

I have found a way to compensate, it requires holding the front sight over the target, but, instead of having them lined up three across (flush top and bottom) i have to have it above rear sights. Almost a full dot over the height of the rear. While this is fine for me, it's a home protection gun and wife will not remember this I'm sure.

You *might* be pulling the trigger when it breaks. Have you practiced dry fire to see if this is the case?

Yea I have. Tried dry firing and even attached laser to see if any movement at trigger pull. Also changed to medium grip to see if improved or not. No difference. Im willing to make the $100 investment, but want to make sure it's going to work or not. Any other ideas or suggestions to try? Thanks.

Install the sights yourself and save a bunch of cash.
