Factory SP2022 Sight Setup

Hello fellow Sig owners, I need some advice on a sig sp2022 (9mm) I just recently purchased new a couple of month's ago. this sp2022 is not my only sig (P226 also) but out of all my firearms this shoots consistently low. I know you have seen this same issue in a number of forums but what makes this issue different is after checking my sights like an older forum had advised another sp2022 owner (should be #8 front and rear) mines actually have a #8 front and a #10 rear. My question is could this cause my shots to consistently go low? My first impression is to send the pistol back to sig for an inspection (proper sights) but I want to be assure if this would cause the issue. I have shot over 400 rounds through this sp2022 and I'm having a heck of a time finding a consistant sweet spot and yes I'm aim with a POI/POA sight but no luck. Any advice would be helpful. Thanks!!!

I have a #8 set on mine and I haven't had any low hit issues that weren't my fault.

I've read that raising higher in either front and rear raises point of impact. I would think your #10 rear would raise your impact 4" over the # 8 standard.
25 yadrs each increment= 1" front and 2" rear.

I'm also shooting low about 2-3 " with #8s, even bench resting and covering the bullseye with the front dot.
