Web email address are only a small sliver of what annoys his delicate sensibilities over there at website X.

Glad to be here, and will stay and grow with the forum.

Been a long time Sig fan (got my first Sig around 1989ish: a new 225) and after a long term foray into some plastic stuff (yeah...lightweight...with staple gun triggers and AK-47 tolerances)......I have come to see the light again!

SIG! SIGTALK!

I've been a member for about a year and I'm have no idea why Sig Talk doesn't have more members. Unless, people just don't want to talk about what weapons they have.

I think it will grow.

For one thing, timing is perfect.

We now have the SP2022 which is as good a pistol as any of the 200-series pistols.

We also have the 250 in improved form. I have one on order and am very much interested in what it turns out to be.

Point being, these two pistols have intro'd many people to SIG's who otherwise would have stuck with Glocks, likely.

I have many years of very satisifed experience with the 226's but credit where it is due; My 2022's are every bit as good. That a giuy can get arguably the best DA/SA pistol in synthetic frame and get two for the price of one 226, well, that is better yet.

Then there is the 250.

Other than personal preference stuff {triggers, grip feel, etc}, I hear nothing bad about the 250's lately.

So....?

I think it is a great time for the SIGTALK forum to take off.

Add the fact that the membership seems to be pretty high quality and we lack the bizarre and really weird moderating that goes on the "other" SIG forum and I think we have a winning place here. No two ways about it.

More will join.

Better yet, many will joing who are not inoculated against "new model" SIG's by past SIG experience. I actually think that will be a large percentage of the membership, and it promises to make this a great site as well.

I HAVE 2 Sigs 2 Kahrs and a kimber. ALL of them I put my life behind. I don't care for Poly guns, the one I own, my wife uses. Just my opinion. Re this sight (Size) I find it more friendly and less people attempting to mock or intimidate others (After All we learn from each other.) No one get's banned by stating what's on your mind (Freedom of Speech) Prevails here. For the most part, people are nice here.
I also belong to other sights as well.

When I got my Sig 2022, I looked at both the Sigforums and here at Sigtalk. I just got a vibe from this place; reading the posts I got the sense that folks here are a little more accommodating of different points of view than they are over at Sigforums. Which isn't to bash Sigforums at all, as I'm sure lots of us here hang out at both places. I just felt more at home here and hope others do too.
