How do I know what Lubricant to buy?

Here is something I stumbled upon once, and it is a good read for understanding how to take care of your gun. Everyone struggles with lubricants unless you are an engineer of that discipline. This will at least make you a somewhat educated consumer as I found it did for me (at least I could ask intelligent questions) while unfortunately finding out the retail sources I had relied on previously really didn't know as much as I had thought! Ooops.

Enjoy! GrantCunningham.com - Gunsmithing

Your link has a really well written explanation on lubes.
Thanks for it.
TW25B and Tetra oil has served me well.
One guy I read on here says he dips his gun whole in a tub of lard and he's good to go.

I mostly use TW25B. I've used a few other items, but I like this stuff for sure. Good stuff!

Grant Cunningham

From Grant Cunningham's Lubrication 101, these are recommended and I use both:

Lubriplate's FMO-AW oil (specifically the 350-AW weight)
Lubriplate "SFL" NLGI #0 grease

In all stainless pistols, SIG Sauer recommends using

.

Slide Glide is a product that was recommended to me. I like it, has anyone else used it? If so: What do you think?
