I like checkered wood grips. For me, they appear to stick better in my hand than the rubber grips. Rubber grips are okay, but I experienced a slippery feeling when my hands were wet or sweaty.

I have the factory grips on one of my 239's & the hogue grips with finger grooves on the other, both are good the hogue do feel a little more comfortable, I was also thinking about getting the G 10 grips

Thanks for the suggestions about the soft rubber grips, but in all honesty, I would never put them on a potential carry pistol. They have a tendancy to stick to shirts and icncrease the potential for printing. I am not overly fond of them either. Finger groves on some of the models don't always fit my hands. I want to put my fingers where it works for me, not where the grip thinks they should be. I am actually going to place my order for the G10's tonight.

Sticking shirts, rattling slides.. what's next? I have a set of Hogue Finger grips on my carry Sig P239. Honestly, when holster practicing, I don't even register a difference in draw time or printing. It's more about comfort. Now if you don't like the placement of the grooves.. that's a whole separate issue. I have huge hands, and fitting all of my fingers on the 239 was an issue WITHOUT the Houge finger grooves. Now my fingers fall in place, every time.
Personal preference, obviously. I appreciate the link. I wasn't aware of everything Hogue offered for Sig.
