Anyone run Dawson Precision on their carry gun

I was wondering if anyone runs dawson precision sights on their edc? I had an opportunity to shoot one and I really liked the very thin front post. Now I think they may have been the competition sights so I would prefer to utilize for edc. I'm specifically thinking of replacing the sights on my 229 which has the orange dot from ameriglo.

Of the sights I currently have, I prefer the TFO fiber optic that is on my tacops over all the others including the legion x-rays. That said, I really think I may prefer the thinner front post from dawson over all the others, just really super easy to get accurate hits. Anyone have thoughts, comments, suggestions? As always thanks for any input.

Dismas316, do you think it is because of the "light" gap between the front and rear sight allowing you to distinguish the front post from the rear notch?
With a narrower front post, and the same notch width you will have more "Light" surrounding the post, possibly making it easier to center the post in the notch.
I can understand it if your eyes are like mine, getting older, and harder to focus. That's why my "reading glasses", are "always" with me.

Yes, I think that may apply here. My eyes certainly are gettting older so that would make sense.

Vij - I wondered it you were going to chime in. Your 226 set up continues to cost me. :D Not likely to run a light on my gun. But as with yours, got to shoot another this past week with the dawson and just like yours really liked them a lot.
