Not sure if this has been posted but i was looking for a SIG Pro 2022 picture for my avatar (I've been on my laptop all week and it doesn't have any of my pictures, so the net was good enough for now.) and i ran across this little story from The Firearm Blog.



I have heard of putting the gun in the oven to cure the finish but i knew it was not smart to do for drying after cleaning, especially when the lower to the handgun is a polymer.

wow....i must say this is good timing though. on another forum i am a member of they were talking about putting their truck tail lights in the oven for a few minutes to make them easier to take apart so they could candy or tint them. getting a phone call or otherwise distracted and forgetting them was mentioned. good times.
