I have no idea what the original costs would be and what the minimum run would be. I do know of an individual who was the recipient of one these special runs (military in nature)

Interesting...

Well like I said before, he was unsure of the company, and the only info he could provide was that the order for the 500 of these was NOT from a private group.

I should probably get that $45.99 certificate or whatever it is for this thing when it's in my hands.

I do not know if the 'special run' pistols would add any real resale value. They may, however, be of higher value to select groups. If it were me, I would not feel a need for the certificate, especially at $46. If the special run is of significance to you, the certificate may be of extra value to you.

HUH...

Well honestly it doesn't hold any real added value for me, but if it doesn't add any extra value to the pistol, should I even bother?

I can only speak for myself, I wouldn't. My opinion only!

The overall condition would be a more important factor than the certificate for me.

Ask your self a question: If most potential buyers are like you and are unaware that it even exists, what does that mean?

Outside of the Blackjack logo, it's really just a combination of features found on many other Sigs. If you can find someone who will gladly pay more, then you did well. I do not believe that a potential buyer will lay out an extra $46 for the certificate if they themselves can call Sig and get one on their own, that's if they feel it necessary.

It's definitely somewhat rare and unique, he's just saying he wouldn't drop $46 on a certificate when that could be ammo money. I'd probably agree.

Good luck! If you are able to secure it, get a good close up of the logo, I'd be interested in seeing it.

Okay, first of all: JEALOUS! Great find!

Second: what would make someone get rid of one of those?

That explains it's manufacture date of December of '09 then.

Cool weapon IMHO.

I wonder why someone would sell it off???
