New MPX Owner here, fun to shoot, first AR platform type of rifle/pistol.

I ran into a problem at the range this past weekend where the mags would not feed because the springs were too tight. I had to unload the mags to 5 or 6 rounds to get it to feed and function properly.

My question is this: How do I work the springs in so that they aren't so tight in a way that doesn't compromise their longevity. Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.

As the other posts says, load them and leave them for a couple of weeks. They'll loosen up.

Congrats!
My new 7 mags have been fully loaded for 2 wks, pistol had it's initial clean/lube/check and tomorrow, weather permitting, will be my MPX's 1st feeding! (Not counting the Sig test)
I 'll report back over the weekend, how the mags feed.
Typically after break in I'll load my SD mags -1...never had a problem with any firearm doing that.
