Couple Questions on the Copperheads

Hi guys a I have a chance to buy a New Black copperhead with the threaded barrel.

Can you tell me are the barrels replaceable? I see on sigs Sight they have MPX Barrels in different Lengths.

Do the Copperheads have adjustable Gas valves for suppressed or suppressed?

I appreciate the Info.

Barrels replaceable?
Yes they are. See here.

Adjustable gas system?
Not as stock, but you can buy an adjustable gas block here.

In Lead We Trust is about the best source for parts, and Robert, the owner is kind of the MPX Guru...lol

Having said all this, the Copperhead does have a monolithic upper, so depending on your needs, that might factor into your purchase decision. The K is similarly sized, but allows more "mission-driven" modifications. However this does come at a price. I haven't priced the Copperhead since I picked up my K at the beginning of the year, but the K was running about $300-$400 more from what I saw...YMMV.

Just my 2c worth...hope it helps.

Very Helpful Thank you very much, I would love to go with the k but None of my dealers stock it and according to them they are not being made any longer.

I'd have to seriously question the veracity of that statement. Maybe they can't get them, but AFAIK the K line is still going strong.

Mine was made in Feb this year and there are other members here that have more recent ones.

They may be hard to get, but they're out there.

Good to know, I have a larger dealer of Sig that is a little farther away. I will check with him in the next couple of days, I really would rather have the K. I have gotten the feeling that Some of these dealers are so overwhelmed they dont want to mess with a special order. I did wait 7 hours to pick up a rifle the other day so I know they are just trying to make it through the day.
