Display Settings

The display settings on the site are now so small I can barely read messages.

This has come up in the past and seemed to "self-rectify". This is the only forum I have this issue with.

I use Google Chrome and am on the latest version.

Need some help to correct this or I won't be able to continue to use the forum here.

Win 7 Pro
Google Chrome [latest]

So there is at least 1 good thing about I.E. 11 and that is that the settings are great.

One more reason not to gravitate away. I'm going to try it with Edge.

Okay, I'm on Microsoft Edge now and it's still great.

I did check on MSIE and the display was fine. However, for a variety of reasons, not the least of which was security, I moved to Chrome years ago and have no intention of using MSIE for forums.

If this were normal for forums, I'd make some other hard choices, but this is ONLY happening on SigTalk.

We'll see what happens.

or left click on the 3 dots in upper right corner & you can make font big/small.

i've been using incognito on nearly all sites & it's nice......same 3 dots.

Tried that Bear. No joy. The size thing was in spite of everything I did. Most of what I did just screwed up other forums and sites..

It's all undone and fixed now. The Ctrl + zero corrected it.

Actually, the solution proved to be quite embarrassing. I'm "fairly" well educated with computers and browsers. This was an error/fix I never knew squat about until this morning. Yep, embarrassing and frustrating at the same time...

Is that because you do the incognito thing?

Zoom settings are browser tab based. Setting it on one wont set it across the board if you are using multiple tabs.

Glad to see ffadmin was able to help you out.

yes but when i login, i'm good for the day unless the incognito page gets closed, then re-enter all sites again.

fwiw:
when incognito there's no history link to delete.

it's kind of a pita but no history makes it worth the effort.
