Noticed a few duplicate posts this morning, from "Old Hands".
The one post I made seemed to take forever to post onto the site, and when it finally did, had a duplicate. I deleted my duplicate, but I'm guessing there is a problem, with the site, as I only hit "Submit" once.
I almost thought this was going to be a duplicate, as it took so long...
My guess is there has been some maintenance done that has affected posting and performance.
What device/browser are ye using? When your post hangs, do you notice the site waiting on anything in the bottom left corner?
I run Win 7 Pro, Chrome - and it is up-to-date. Always look to see what the site is doing and don't recall seeing the normal text [waiting on SigTalk Forum] to where it's trying to reach when it hangs up.
Is it happening in a particular section/time? I ran a few tests and haven't been able to replicate it.
Good question. I know some of it is happening in the News, Politics, and Religion Forum and I THINK maybe the Madhouse. Not sure about Madhouse.
Just noticed the transfer from News, Politics, and Religion Forum to the Lobby was slower than normal - not bad, but not as fast as usual. Since I'm looking for an answer, I'm overly sensitive to how fast things are happening so my observation just now was likely due to that. Certainly not something I'd consider "slow" - but not as fast a normal.
Earlier, I posted this little jewel - horribly important thread - in Madhouse and I did notice when I created it - it was fast to post/update.
Again, the issue is sporadic.
