I'm not using the "enhanced" version (don't like it). Not sure if that answers your question.

Was just checking sigtalk on my phone, touched on the "new posts" link and it sent me to that "amazon" page I posted previously.

yeah. that answers the cause of where this is mostly happening. I think everyone who is getting these popups are also using the desktop skin on a mobile device.

just wondering... I used my android and I exited mobile by forcing the browser to show the desktop:




how are you guys exiting?

Probably the same: Logging on fresh (clear browsing history), I find the option to "exit enhanced mobile view" (sigtalk homepage, upper left menu).
